Health Administration & Financing Diploma

The course is intended for professionals and administrators of the healthcare sector at all operational and decision making levels:

  • Employees of health insurance companies and third party administrators (TPA)
  • Managers and staff of health institutions dealing with health insurance
  • Ministry of Health staff in central and decentralized units; Representatives of involved in the development and administration of public health policy.
  • Managers and staff of social security institutions dealing with healthcare benefits
  • Ministry of Planning staff working on the health sector;
  • Ministry of Finance staff working on the health sector;
  • Academicians and technical consultants who support the above three groups;
  • Civil society advocates who manage or support policy dialogue and monitoring in the health sector;
  • Journalists who cover the health sector;
  • International organizations staff who work on the health sector.
  • Social partners and other non-governmental organizations concerned with healthcare.
    The Muhanna Foundation strongly recommends companies and institutions to nominate their employees for both HAF diploma modules to gain wider understanding of healthcare systems from both an administrative and technical perspective.

Participants are expected to come from different countries of the Arab World. Many would be working in the public health administration while others may be pursuing a career in private health insurance. This diversity would result in a stimulating mix of participants who would bring their work-related experiences into the classroom and young graduates who are often well-equipped with modern theoretical insights. This combination ensures that participants will not only learn from lecturers or case studies but also from each other.
