The Insurance sector is in continuous mutation worldwide and is shifting
towards a certain consolidation in the Arab World . The complexity
of its operations and their impact on both shareholders and policyholders,
and consequently on the whole economy/economies (due to the globalization
factor), highlights the need to update the knowledge of those having
the responsibility of executing the management directives and policies.
Newly appointed executives working in the insurance sector could lack
insurance knowledge since they come from other industries related
directly or indirectly to insurance. Managers (i.e. risk managers)
in most of the sectors of the economy need to have enough insurance
background to deal properly with their insurer. This course is intended
to cover this gap in our Arab markets.
